Lysa Schuyler |
Lysa began her management career representing youth, but now develops and guides talent of all ages. The niece of a successful child actor in silent films, and an actress herself as well as stand-in, production assistant and producer, she brings a unique understanding as to what it takes to succeed in this business.
Lysa attended UCLA, graduating cum laude, and was set to attend law school, but was again drawn to her first love, performing and working in entertainment. She worked in television, film and commercials, and performed in various Los Angeles theatres. She had just finished a play at the Victory Theatre when her son expressed an interest in following in her footsteps. While working on a feature film, her son booked three commercials, and that was when she put her acting career on hold to develop and support his. This eventually segued into her managing the career of others. She cares deeply about her clients, and gets as much joy out of watching them grow and succeed, as she does her own son. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up. - Thomas Edison |
